Who You're Partnering With

We've been doing this for over 30 years — and we've done it in some of the most competitive food court environments in the world. What started as a family-run roast operation in West Auckland in the early 2000s became Rutherford Roasts in Wellington in 2005, then Yorkshire Roasts across the Westfield mall network in New Zealand.

Our New Zealand operations gave us a master class in lean QSR efficiency. Westfield doesn't take tenants who can't perform — and we not only performed, we became anchor food court tenants. We built systems that work at 400 square feet. We know how to train a carving station team in two weeks. We know what sells at 11:30am on a Tuesday.

Now we're bringing The Carvery to Canada — starting at The Well in Toronto — and we're looking for partners who share our belief that slow-roasted, carved meat in a fast-casual format is genuinely, obviously missing from the Canadian mall experience. We're not looking for passive investors. We're looking for people who want to build something with us.
